In her practice, Attorney Ayesha Mehdi focuses on representing physicians and other health care professionals, along with various health care and closely-held businesses, in a wide range of corporate, transactional, regulatory, and licensure matters. Mehdi provides general-counsel-level services to a number of her clients and has substantial experience in general health care law, physician employment, recruitment, professional board complaints, reimbursement issues, mergers & acquisitions, corporate compliance, and joint ventures.
Attorney Ayesha Mehdi received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with honors in Finance from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration, and her Master’s in Health Services Administration, as well as her Juris Doctorate degree, from the University of Kansas, where she currently serves on the law school’s Board of Governors. Attorney Ayesha Mehdi is Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association’s Healthcare Fraud & Compliance interest group. As Vice-Chair, Attorney Ayesha Mehdi helps the group address topical, cutting-edge issues focused within the healthcare industry. She is also the Vice-Chair for the Amerian Bar Association’s Coordinating Committee on Diversity The committee works to encourage that the Health Law Section membership reflects the diversity of practice areas, geographic location, ethnicity, and gender of the health law profession.
Attorney Ayesha Mehdi speaks at regional and national seminars and conferences for both legal and health care associations and is a pro bono attorney for the Children’s Attorney Project of Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada.
